Twilight Cricket 2010

We are looking to start the second season of Twilight on the 17th of February following all the same rules as before with one special bonus...

At the end of this competition the winners will be entered into the Auckland wide Twilight champions league day where there will be big prizes and the prestigious Champions League title on the line.

So far for the new season we have two time returning champions DHL signed up, newcomers Fleet Partners have committed to one team and The Foodtown Family are going to have another tilt after there strong finish last time so we still have 2 vacant slots.

Just a reminder our General Knowledge Quiz Night is the 20th of Feb night at 8pm

There will be prizes for the top 3 teams. Entry will be $5 a person or $25 a team.

We welcome back Club Captain Jason Trowill on the mic for this one which means it will be an event not to be missed :)

Over the summer break you might have heard about our Nursery grade. How great it is. How much fun the boys and girls have. The fabulous sausage sizzle.

Your year 1 and year 2 (school year) can still join us for the rest of the summer. 8 weeks learning cricket skills, hand-eye co-ordination and new friendships. Come and try one week and if your daughter/son likes it they can join up for half price.

Nursery starts back this Friday, 5th February 2010 at 5pm. See you there!

Junior 7s Tournament 2010

The Junior Sevens were run on another lovely Auckland day this past Friday, 29^th Jan 2010.

35 of the best and most talented of the Ellerslie Kids from y5 to u18 descended on Michaels Ave at 10am where they split into their 5 teams and battle/play commenced!

It was a tight competition all day but there were deserved winners, not losing a single game and picking up 2 fair play points along the way congratulations to Wellington . Who were as follows;

After analysis of all the stats we have also managed to create a team of the tournament, congratulations to the following players which are the best from each age group
